Good Governance in Today’s Troubled World - Extinction or Survival?

Things are getting worse, before they get better. As conflicts and wars rage in different parts of the world like in Europe and the Middle east, growing mass protests across the globe are evidence of rising cultural and economic discontent like antisemitism, islamophobia, corrupt leadership, and inflation. Leaving critical thinkers wondering where rising global insecurity will lead, and how underlying bad human governance and character can be transformed to become good.

Since the beginning when God Almighty created the world with mankind on it, there have been approximately 169 types of governments: Including Aristocracy, Absolute Monarchy, Anarchy, Authoritarian, Commonwealth, Communist, Confederacy, Constitutional, Constitutional Democracy, Constitutional Monarchy, Democracy, Democratic Republic, Dictatorship, Ecclesiastical, Emirate, Federal, Federal Republic, Islamic Republic, Maoism, Marxism, Marxism-Leninism, Monarchy, Oligarchy, Parliamentary Democracy, Parliamentary Monarchy, Presidential, Republic, Socialism, Sultanate, Theocracy, and Totalitarianism. All these types of governments are formed and appointed by God the Eternal Creator, primarily to prevent anarchy by the rule of law and to bring good to all. Good governance, therefore, means to rule with justice and righteousness in the fear of God Almighty. Otherwise, something will eventually go wrong in the world: And it is going wrong.

God created everything good, but people found all kinds of ways to do bad things. No type of government is bad by itself. It is what people do that determines good or bad governance, measured by national and global value, impact, and longevity. Take the example of Israel since it became a nation in 1406 BC: The Israelites have had different types of governments including Anarchy when everyone did what they liked, Aristocracy by tribal leaders, Theocracy by prophets and judges, Monarchy by kings, until current Parliamentary democracy by elected leaders. Whatever the type of government, the Israelites enjoyed peace and security when leaders governed with justice and righteousness in the fear of God Almighty. But whenever Israel turned away from the holy God to serve idol gods, they suffered widening conflicts and wars: Until Jerusalem the capital city was finally destroyed, and the remaining Israelites carried into exile in 586 BC. After about 2,500 years in exile, the Israelites returned and became a nation again in 1948 AD because God remembered their righteous fathers! Proving that anything not built with righteousness and justice in the fear of God will in the end be destroyed. Like it happened in the ancient Kingdom of Edom.

Esau the son of Isaac, also called Edom, was essentially an aggressive lover of outdoor life. Proud of his exploits, Esau soon stopped listening to God Almighty his fathers served. Since every government listen to someone or to something, turning away from God Almighty opened the way for aggressive aliens to enter Edom. Listening to demons defined the culture and policy environment that evolved into the Kingdom of Edom. Developing into a civilized economy rich in copper with a beautiful capital City by the 10th century BC, the Edomites were a proud and aggressive people resembling the demons they listened to. However, the demon gods could not help when groups of cunning and violent foreigners interested in their vast natural resources began attacking Edom. From the 11th century BC until 120 BC, the Edomites, later renamed the Idumeans then the Egulites, suffered a history of colonization. Without the guidance of the Spirit of God, regular governmental policy reforms could not arrest the widening insecurity and protests secretly caused by clever and ambitious foreigners: Until the Idumeans were slaughtered until extinct in 72AD by Emperor Titus of the old Roman Empire. So ended the Kingdom of Edom that could not secure the help they needed against alien demons driving ambitious foreigners, because they chose to turn away from God Almighty. This is the same environment and danger the present world is walking into.

Extinction, or Survival?

If countries like in Africa suffered a history of colonization: If a transcontinental union of countries, like the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) crashed into smaller Federations and Republics in 1991 AD; after 300 years of Tsarist autocracy or absolute Monarchy, followed by a quasi-democracy in 1917 AD, and Socialist and Communist type governments like Marxism and Marxism-Leninism: If fear of mutual extinction in a devastating world war 3, grips the world covered by dark clouds of conflicts and wars in different parts: It is all because the current types of governments in the suffering world, are run by leaders listening to alien demons luring to govern without righteousness and justice in the fear of God Almighty. In this environment, policy reforms and developments with huge investments aimed at resolving widening insecurity will continue to be ineffective. The choice through the ages is clear. To continue with the present partnership with alien demons, leading to extinction when the world will be reduced to smothering ashes: Or to return to God Almighty, and start listening to the Spirit of God: In a natural partnership between God and man that works both to transform flawed human character to righteous and just in the fear of God that leads to survival. The real work of transformation and survival is for the Spirit of God to do; all the world need do is say ‘Yes’ to God. So allow the Spirit of God to come and finish the work He started in each human since birth: And unleash the power to perform the wonder of saving our world from extinction, by changing flawed human character from bad to good. The very power that comes with this first-of-its-kind Scripture, The One Gospel Bible.
